A lot of us love using Spotify instead of Apple Music on our iOS and iPadOS devices as it not only offers a lot of options but makes it easy to manage your playlists as well. But one major drawback with Spotify is that it misses an important element that a lot of music players need to include as well – a volume level slider.
If you have a jailbroken device and wish to add a volume level slider to the Now Playing interface of the Spotify app on your device, then you should try out the newly released and free jailbreak tweak known as Volify. Developed by iOS developed ginsu, Volify has a simple task which is to improve the Spotify app by including the volume level slider to the Now Playing interface similar to how it is on the Apple Music app.
In the screenshot below, you will find how the Now Playing interface of the Spotify looks like before the tweak is installed and after the tweak is installed. Volify adds the volume level slider to the Now Playing interface of the Spotify app in a simple and aesthetically pleasing way and doesn’t affects any other part of the appearance or the use of the app. It will feel like the volume level slider always belonged there and the tweak had nothing to do with it.
Of course, you don’t necessarily need Volify to manage the volume of your device. You can use the hardware volume buttons available on the side of the device or you can navigate to the Control Center to manage the volume level of the device. However, both of these methods won’t be as satisfying as controlling the volume of the device from the Now Playing interface.
So, if you are interested in trying out the new Volify tweak, then you can download the tweak for free from ginsu’s personal repository via your favorite package manager. This tweak is currently supported on all the jailbroken devices that have Spotify app installed on them or can be used to install Spotify app. However, you won’t get any configuration options with this tweak so, what you see is what you get with it.
Would you like to enhance the music listening experience on Spotify app by installing Volify tweak and adding a volume level slider to the Now Playing interface? Let us know your thoughts on this in the comment section below!
