Red and Apple: The Happy 15 year anniversary

(RED), a foundation devoted to ending HIV and AIDS (and, more recently, COVID-19), is honoring its fifteen-year partnership with Apple.

The News:

In conjunction with its partnership with RED, Apple sells an exclusive (PRODUCT) RED collection of products and accessories that give $1 from each purchase to fight HIV/AIDS. In the fifteen years since their collaboration, RED has released a special video that demonstrates how Apple helps in the fight to save lives around the world.

It was established in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver.

RED is an affiliate that is part of The ONE Campaign, which collaborates with the most renowned brands to combat the AIDS pandemic. By the year 2020, the organization will work to equip health professionals and people from the most vulnerable communities with the tools to fight COVID-19.

Apple has donated $270 million to the organization over the last 15 years, with the goal of eradicating AIDS and COVID-19.

When COVID-19, a pandemic that was to strike in 2020, Apple directed the sale of (PRODUCT) RED devices and accessories to the COVID-19 Response of the Global Fund, and this program has been extended until December 2021.

In honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st, Apple, the tech giant, has announced the return of (PRODUCT) RED revenue to support the fight against HIV/AIDS.

In the video that was recently uploaded to the RED YouTube channel, the charity group outlined its tech company's efforts that have given over 13.8 million health professionals, as well as people who have the medical equipment and lifesaving treatments to combat the epidemics. Their work isn't finished, but they're not done yet.

(RED) as well as Apple have a long-standing partnership in the fight against HIV/AIDS. As a (RED) Partner for over 15 years, Apple has raised nearly $270 million in the Global Fund through the sale of (PRODUCT)RED products and other accessories.

With COVID's threat to subdue the progress made on this AIDS battle, Apple has been engaging its customers in fighting both diseases all year round via the “App Store Apple Pay Integrations and engagement with employees” initiative.

Apple sells many (PRODUCT)RED versions of its accessories and devices. Starting with Apple's iPhone up to Apple Watch to cases and more, consumers who purchase from Apple can choose from a variety of options to select (RED) when buying a product.
