We heard the official news on Thursday that unc0ver’s team has been working hard at creating a full-fledged jailbreak tool for iOS and iPadOS 14.0 – 14.3. And since this news broke, a lot of avid jailbreakers have been waiting in suspense about it.

If you are one of those who has been waiting too, then you are going to be glad to hear that unc0ver will offers support for iOS and iPadOS 14.0 – 14.3 quite soon. According to a few tweets that were shared on Saturday on Twitter, we got a glimpse of the unc0ver jailbreak app v6.0.0 on iOS 14 with Cydia running on it.

Apart from the screenshots, the tweets mostly consisted of the unc0ver lead developer, Pwn20wnd, hyping up this tool and asking the jailbreakers to tweet the hashtag #unc0ver to make it trending on Twitter and even suggested that it might get released tonight itself. If you remember the last time unc0ver got a major update, you would have noticed a similar pattern this time as well.

As usual, Pwn20wnd loves to get unc0ver trending on Twitter before any major release is launched and then retweets the testimonials of beta test users. It is understood now that the newfangled support by unc0ver for iOS and iPadOS 14 has been made possible with the help of custom kernel exploit based on the latest cicuta_verosa kernel exploit that was released by ModernPwner. But one thing to note is that all the exploits aren’t same.

If you didn’t know, unc0ver jailbreak usually installs Cydia as a default package manager and uses Substitute for tweak injection, out of which the latter recently received a major update. The jailbreak app, unc0ver 6.0.0 for iOS 14.0 – 14.3 is capable of supporting all the devices that can run these versions, including the new iPhone 12 too.

Seeing all the hype of Twitter around the updated jailbreak tool, we can surely assume that unc0ver 6.0.0 is likely to get launched soon and we are all set for it!
