New iPhone 14: Everything we know

How about we start our new year with a bang??

As per trusted sources, new design leaks about the new iPhone 14 have surfaced on the market, and we are very excited to share them with you.

Thus, without further ado.

Let us Begin…

The News:

Apple iPhone 14 leaks have already provided some shocking design tweaks. However, the most exciting of them has taken another step in the right direction.

In a report, historically accurate site The Elec has reported that Apple has signed an arrangement with its supply chain partner LG to supply OLED punch-hole screens for iPhone 14 models. This is the most significant visual overhaul to the iPhone range ever since the iPhone X launched Apple's smartphones in 2017.

It is expected to shoot the previously reported punched-hole leaks that were pill-shaped. Furthermore, the brand new iPhone 14 model could be upgraded.

In a breakdown of the details, The Elec explains that LG will provide Apple with "low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) thin-film transistor (TFT) OLED panels" for the first time, with Apple eager to decrease its dependence on Samsung. The Elec further explains that all panels support 120 Hz high-refresh rates.

The most striking line in the report is that The Elec describes the hardware as "LTPO TFT OLED panels with hole-in display technology, where there is a hole at the top side of the panel for the front camera.

"This is in line with an earlier leak by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who earlier claimed Apple had discovered an option to integrate the other sensors for Touch ID under the display. Kuo also stated that Apple intends to extend the technology to all iPhone 14 models "if product yields allow."

For the moment, the details of these new features are undetermined. The announcement that Apple has procured punch-hole screen displays through its supplier chain places this upgrade in the plan.
The change could cause a stir among Apple customers who have become familiar with the "notch design," but the promise of greater screen space will likely be an upgrade that the majority of iPhone users will be thrilled to embrace.

Exclusive Features and battery life of the iPhone 14

The iPhone 14 is tipped to be powered by a 4nm chip made by TSMC that is much smaller and more efficient than the current 5nm A15 Bionic that was planned to be used in the iPhone 13.

But a report from the past states, that TSMC has problems making tiny chips, which means that the iPhone 14 could stick with the 5nm chip. If it does, it'll be the first time in three years that an iPhone has had the same sized system-on-chip.

The chip is believed to be equipped with 8GB of RAM on those with iPhone 14 Pro models at a minimum, which will give the phones a significant performance improvement.

Apple's focus on effectiveness and tight control of technology and applications from beginning to end has meant that their iPhones can surpass and outperform the top Android phones using less RAM. The iPhone could likely perform better with the added 2GB of RAM, making the iPhone an extremely powerful device.

In terms of storage, we'd like Apple to maintain the options available to iPhone 13 models. The iPhone 13 range, which begins at 128GB and goes all the way to 1TB for Pro models,

A new rumor suggests that the iPhone 14 is tipped to receive a massive 2TB of onboard storage. Since then, no Samsung phone comes with this capacity as well, and because they've always offered plenty of storage, we weren't convinced that the iPhone offered the most storage capacity on a smartphone until now.

iPhone 14:USB-C

One of the longest-running reports about the iPhone 14 is that it will ditch the Lightning port and opt for USB-C as the preferred option.

As we've mentioned before, Prosser has expressed doubt that this is the case. However, other leakers have also praised the USB-C rumor, noting that it is likely that there is a possibility that the iPhone 14 Pro will come equipped with USB-C.

The European Union plans to make it mandatory for device makers to standardize charging cables and chargers in 2024. The time for the Lightning port may be over; Apple has a big European presence, after all.

However, the jury is still out on the issue of whether Apple will implement this move before the time for the release of the iPhone 14.

We'd be happy with USB-C connectivity since Apple's iPads, as well as MacBooks, have embraced the port. Therefore, Apple will remain firm in the matter of the iPhone, so we'll hold our speculation until we hear more speculation.

iPhone 14: Software Updates

If Apple stays with the same pattern that it has used for the greater portion of a decade, the iPhone 14 will likely launch with an updated version of the iOS software in the autumn. We're currently running iOS 15.

There's been no news on Apple's plans for software updates for iOS 16 and they are likely to do so until the company's annual conference for developers that usually takes place in June. Since iOS 15.2 brought several modifications to this month's iPhone in May, Apple is very busy with its software.
