Lime package manager for iOS is a great Cydia alternative software for your jailbroken iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. The Installer is still under closed development but you can now have a quick preview of what you can expect of the upcoming new package manager with no restrictions.
What is Lime Installer?
Lime Installer is a new package manager for iOS 11 and iOS 12 that can replace Cydia app. As every modern package installer also Lime offers a good design and great functionality starting with a once click option to transfer repositories from Cydia, Sileo, and Zebra.
The Team behind Lime is informing us that this will be the fastest package manager for iOS. There is no test version available yet, at least to the public, so we need to wait to confirm this statement.
The home screen displays featured themes, repositories, and tweaks. You can access from here the preferences pane from where you can find information about the device including Model, ECID, UDID, Local IP when connected to Wi-Fi, Storage, and settings to activate the dark mode.
Of curse Lime Installer allows you to add new repositories, view and manage installed packages, queue task, display description of packages, check compatibility version, view in Cydia, and more. When Lime Installer will be available we will provide you with installation instructions.
If you searching for more information related to the package manager a good place to start will be the official twitter account @LimeInstaller. Actually, the official website displays only "Comming soon..." text.
