And one popular form of texting that has gained a lot of traction these days is known as sPoNgEcAsE where as you might see the case of every second letter is inverted in a sentence or a word so that it can add a sarcastic or mocking tone to any message that is being sent.
If you have used sPoNgEcAsE then you know that typing in this form takes a lot of time and is definitely not convenient. Thankfully, we have a free jailbreak tweak known as cRaZy TeXt by iOS developer Sudhip which allows the user to convert normal text into sPoNgEcAsE text with just a simple click of the button.
Once you install cRaZy TeXt, it will be available in the iOS’ native Action menu, which usually appears once you select a body of a text. Once you tap on the relevant button, the conversion happens instantly and you can copy and paste the text wherever you want.
Apart from the sPoNgEcAsE effect, users can also choose the Zalgo text effects on the normal text which is crazier and a little less popular. In case you are hearing about sPoNgEcAsE the first time, it was actually based on a meme which included a snapshot of a specific scene from the SpongeBob Squarepants in which SpongBob was mocking another character. Now that you know the context, it might be easier to understand why sPoNgEcAsE text is used to show a sarcastic mocking tone in a message.
When you install this tweak, a preference pane is added to the Settings app that can be used to adjust the Zalgo effect if you happen to use it.
