One of the most prominent changes made by Apple in iOS 14 is the overhauled widget experience. Apple provides a wide range of widgets on iOS and iPadOS 14 out of the box including the Battery widget. The Battery widget is responsible for noting the battery levels of the handset and all the connected accessories such as AirPods, Apple Watch, Apple Pencil, a Bluetooth accessory, or so on.
Although this Battery widget is a great addition, there is one major issue with this widget. It stops showing the battery levels in percentage if you have added two or more accessories to the device which take up the space on the widget. But don’t worry, we have a solution for this too in the form of a new and free jailbreak tweak known as CompactBatteryAvocado that was developed by iOS developer udevs to fix this issue.
How does this tweak work? Well, CompactBatteryAvocado will show individual numeric battery percentages for all the items in the widget, never mind how many items there are actually in the widget. Moreover, if there is only one item in the widget to display, then it will increase the size of this item as well to make the best use of the widget space.
When it does this, it hides the dummy rings of the devices that aren’t connected to your handset which is actually a great feature.
If you wish to give CompactBatteryAvocado a try, then you can easily download it for free from the udevs personal repository using the favorite package manager. This tweak is currently supported on jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 14 devices only.
In case you aren’t using udevs personal repository, then add it to the package manager using the following URL:
