In the United States, go to the Apple Store for Education, preferably through your university's network, and follow the procedures to choose your products. It's a good idea to have your evidence of eligibility on hand, even if you don't think you'll need it, because Apple tends to operate on a trust system and only asks for this on an occasional basis.

What products come under the discount package?

The Apple Student Discount is available for those who are looking to buy a Mac. It applies to the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro (13" and 16"), iMac Pro, iMac Pro, Mac Pro, and Mac mini. If you are looking for an iPad Pro or Air, there is an Apple Student Discount on both the iPad Air and iPad Pro.

Apple students can now get a discount on selected Mac computers (iMacs, MacBook Airs, MacBook Pros, and Mac minis) and iPads (iPad Airs and iPad Pros). AppleCare+ protection can be purchased for as low as 20%, and you can save $200 on a Mac or $100 on an iPad.
Apple Music is the other major discount for Apple students at the moment. This is a simpler deal: you will pay $4.99/PS4.99 per month instead of $9.99/PS9.99 for up to 48-months.
