Apple and A24 partner up for the drama ‘The Tragedy of Macbeth’ starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand.

Later this year, 'The Tragedy of Macbeth' will be released in theaters around the world, ahead of a global launch on Apple TV+.

The Tragedy of Macbeth, starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, will be produced by Apple Original Films and A24.

Apple Original Films and A24 revealed today that they would collaborate on the release of "The Tragedy of Macbeth," the highly awaited drama directed by Academy Award winner Joel Coen and starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand.

Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Kathryn Hunter, Harry Melling, and Brendan Gleeson are among the cast members of "The Tragedy of Macbeth." The film features frequent Coen collaborators such as cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel, costume designer Mary Zophres, and Carter Burwell's score. Coen, along with McDormand and Robert Graf, produces the film in addition to directing it.

  • "On the Rocks", directed by Academy Award-winning director Sofia Coppola, and starring Bill Murray and Rashida Jones;
