A sketchy rumor says AirPods 3 and Apple Music HiFi might launch on Tuesday, May 18.
The rumor comes from a YouTube channel name Luke Miani and Apple Track. However, there is no track record of the source. They also claimed that Apple AirPods, the third generation of AirPods, will release in the coming weeks.
At its spring-loaded event, Apple launched its iPad, iMac, Apple TV, and the awaited AirTag. But, AirPods was not a part of the launch. Hence, the vague rumors say that it might arrive later this week.
AirPods 3 rumored features
Unlike the previous AirPods, it will have fewer features. It will adopt the design of Air Pods Pro, but it is not confirmed that it will allow sweat resistance or not. Like AirPods, the high-end features are restricted, like active noise cancellation.
The anticipation for AirPods 3 is high because it's been a while since customers haven't heard anything from Apple about its earphones. It is sad to hear that people are falling for fake AirPods 3, sold as the original.
Previously, the AirPods 3, were rumored to launch at the Spring event this year, but it didn't happen.
Apple Music HiFi
The rumor also suggests that Apple will launch a lossless music streaming platform with high-quality music playback and other features. The lossless tier will come with a price of $9.99 per month. The subscription will be like other Apple subscriptions. The report does not state whether Apple will modify the existing Apple Music or it will be a brand new music platform for Apple Users; since Apple users are currently paying the same amount for Apple Music also.
Currently, the iOS 14.6 version is in beta, and might the stable version may support the Apple Music HiFi. At the same time, the AirPods 3 launch might launch for a complete music experience for the Apple customers.
In addition, Luke Miani also cited that the Airpods 3 are ready to ship and launch on May 18, but there is no confirmation for the leaks. The rumors might be true because the statement he stated is something hinted at by other sources. For example, a previous report suggested that the new AirPods are releasing 'coming weeks'. As per Hits Daily Double, Apple will introduce a premium plan for the Apple Music HiFi user to provide the high fidelity sound quality that will match the level of Spotify HiFi, which is about to arrive later this year. This plan may debut along with the third generation AirPods.
