AdaptiveHome

Anyone who has a jailbroken iPhone or iPad knows that it is a lot more fun to give it personality than a normal device. You don’t have to find anything too fancy but a few subtle modifications are great to enhance the native aesthetics of the Apple device while allowing you to customize it a little more than what you could do on a stock device.

If you think similarly too, then I am sure you are going to love this newly released, free jailbreak tweak that is known as AdaptiveHome and was developed by iOS developer MiRO. This jailbreak tweak is an extension for the notched iPhones and iPads that are equipped with Home Bar and colorizes the Home Bar using the dormant color that is found in an app’s icon.

Take a look at the below screenshot and you will notice that the Cydia app shows a slightly brown Home Bar, the App Store shows a slightly blue Home Bar, and the Spotify app shows a slightly green Home Bar. The colorization has been kept a little mellow to ensure that it doesn’t overpower the user interface.

One thing to note is that AdaptiveHome uses the dormant color of the icon that you might be using at the moment and automatically draws its color for the colorization. There are no configuration options for the tweak. And you should remember that this tweak is not to color the Home Bar a specific color but to adaptively colorize it based on the app icon’s dormant color.

AdaptiveHome is honestly a great jailbreak tweak that a lot of jailbreakers truly enjoy. If you wish to try this jailbreak tweak for yourself, then you can download it from the MiRO personal repository using the favorite package manager. This tweak is currently supported on jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 13 and 14 devices that have a Home Bar.
