ZenWriter is a simple text editor, that allows you to focus on text editing. The application runs in the full-screen mode display the text field without unnecessary elements such as menus and so on.
Editor offers the ability to display picture in the background, play quiet music, as well as play sounds when typing. From ZenWriter settings window the user can define the music volume, activate mode to create automatic copies of the document and display useful statistics about the document like words, characters, and lines counters.
ZenWriter also allows you to customize the appearance of the document to suit your needs. You have the ability to change the font type and font size. In addition, the editor provides the ability to work in night and day modes by adjusting the interface colors depending on the time of day.
ZenWriter sounds played default can be turned off, text files can be imported to the built-in file manager, and you can also print documents. Finished text files can be exported to formats like TXT or RTF.
