Twixtor 7.3 is an application designed to generate the slow motion effects from any video clip with use of most popular video editors available on the market. Using Twixtor you controls the full process of slowing down or accelerating video up to 160x slower than real time.
If you create slowmotion effect with Twixtor the algorithms will analyze moving pixels between consecutive frames, and generate new, non-existent between each frame. This solution allows you to prepare high-quality exemptions selected parts of the clip without recording scenes using slowmotion camcorders. Interesting effects can be achieved with footage from cameras or camcorders recording at 60 frames per second. Using Twixtor you can successfully slow down video to 1.2 frames per second while maintaining the flow of playback.
Twixtor features include keyframable retiming for complete control on a frame by frame basis, frame rate conversions tools, retime a sequence made possible using a single, speed parameter, contains an option to add or remove motion motion blur, support for foreground and background separation, ability to output the motion vectors that Twixtor generates internally, up to 12 user-defined points can be specified to help guide Twixtor's motion estimation and more.
Twixtor is available in versions for video editors like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Express, Apple Final Cut Pro, Autodesk Systems (Sparks), Autodesk Maya Composite (Toxik), Assimilate Scratch, Avid Systems, Foundry Nuke, Eyeon Fusion, Eyeon Vision, Quantel, Apple Shake, Softimage and Sony Vegas Pro.
