SUPERPUTTY is a graphical user interface (GUI) that is based on Windows application which is used to mainly employ for tab management for PuTTY SSH Client. The open-source terminal emulator is a competent program on its own, but the software lacks a tabbed interface. Hence, the application does not only execute basic PuTTY commands but also fills the gaps by offering the user’s much-needed window management. The software fulfils some of the basic functions that the user looks for in a free and open-source networking client PuTTY lacks, the add-on application does not perform any SSH or terminal management. Features of SUPERPUTTY
Tab Manipulation: This is one of the best features that allow users to manipulate any number of tabs. The feature also allows users to openly and freely move open connection onto anywhere on the screen. The software allows users to switch sides of the tab to the left, right, bottom, or above and also helps split the toolbar tab by the user entirely.
Screen Comparison: The feature also allows users to compare screens simultaneously without having the need to shift tabs. In order for the user to move any tabs, the user will have to just left-click while dragging the tab. A color screen appears while dragging where the user can drag the tab of the application’s program.
SuperPuTTY.setting: This primary setting file is located where the USERPROFILE variable is directed to the user. If the directory is not found or if it is not available then the user is advised not to make any kinds of changes to the file directly, but instead, use the “Tools Potion” on the menu bar to edit. However, in order to have easy access, the user has the option to move the application setting file where applications executable file is being stored.
Runtime Configuration: The program allows users to make the runtime configuration of the application. But such advanced settings are available via the application file called SuperPutty.exe.config that is stored in the application directory.

The software highly recommends that the users maintain the default settings without doing any kind of changes in them as these files are only to be accessed by advanced users only. Installation Requirements for SUPERPUTTY
To install the SUPERPUTTY on PC, make sure that the following requirements are met by the user in the PC desktop.
PC – Make sure that your PC is on Windows 7 or higher with at least 4 GB of RAM.
Compatibility Mode is enabled.
How to Download SUPERPUTTY on Windows
Follow the below steps to download and install the SUPERPUTTY on your PC:
Go to SUPERPUTTY’s website, and go to Downloads.
Click on Download Now.
Select ‘Save’ to download the program. The file will be saved in the Downloads folder.
If you want to save in a specified folder on your desktop, then click on ‘Save As’ and select the folder you want the program to be saved.
After the download is complete click on the .exe file.
The installation process will start.
Run the installation package.
Wait until the update completes
Follow the Windows installation instructions and select options accordingly.
Click on Finish to complete the installation.
The program icon will appear on the desktop.
Select the icon to start the application.
