Sony PC Companion is an easy to use computer tool for safely updating your Xperia device's software. You can use it to download and install the latest software updates for your device, create backups and restore them whenever needed. You can also use this application to reset your Xperia device to the factory settings by clearing all the content. Not just this, the application also lets you browse, sync, transfer and organize all your files on your device.
Primarily speaking, this application has three primary uses: The ability to browse, sync and transfer all your files on your Xperia device through your PC, remotely upgrade software on your device through your PC and something known as ‘software repair’ which will let you wipe off all data on your Xperia device and perform a clean installation. Download & Install Sony PC Companion:
Download->
Click on the Download button.
Your download would automatically begin.
Installation->
After your download is complete, head towards the downloads folder on your PC.
Run the setup file, if prompted by User Account Control, click on yes.
Go through the installation and changes settings as per your preferences and click on Install.
Once the installation is complete, search for the application in your Windows search and run the application.
