ROBLOX is a free-to-play online gaming and creation platform founded by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004 and released by Roblox Corporation. The platform was released in 2006 and allowed users to program and play their own games that are built by other users. The platform is known for hosting user-created games which consist of multiple genres coded in Lua programming language. The platform recently a rapid growth in user base due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and has been in demand since then. The platform has over 164 million monthly active users, out of which half of the users are under the age of 16 in the United States.

Roblox Studio: The studio in the platform allows users to create their very own games by making use of its proprietary engine present in the studio itself. The studio is built in such a way that the games built by a user can be played by other users too. All games are coded under an object-oriented programming language that utilizes the Lua programming language which helps in manipulating the environment of the game. Roblox Corporation only holds the right to sell specific items like body parts, gear and other packages. There are certain items like virtual hats and accessories that can be published by certain users who have past experience working with Roblox corporation. Many designers have made this as a full-time job with earnings of more than $100,000 a year.
Events: There are regular events that are being hosted by Roblox, which consists of both real-life and virtual events, operating on annual Easter Egg hunts and also promotions for movies like Wonder Woman 1984 and Aquaman.

How to Download ROBLOX on Windows
Follow the below steps to download and install the ROBLOX on your PC:
Go to ROBLOX’s website, and go to Downloads.
Click on Download Now.
Select ‘Save’ to download the program. The file will be saved in the Downloads folder.
