About Project IGI:
Project IGI (also known as “Project I.G.I.: I'm Going In”) is a tactical first-person shooter game released by the Innerloop Studios as well as Eidos Interactive in late 2000s. By the time of its release, this ambitious first-person shooter received praises for technical solutions that have brought large open-world environments in the FPS genre, high-quality sound design along with detailed graphics. The driving force which fuels these technical innovations come from the use of proprietary game engine which developers at Innerloop created for use in their 1997 combat flight simulator game- Joint Strike Fighter. Even though it has innovated in many fields, the game was criticized for the outright lack of multiplayer, the number of technical issues that affected the stability of the game and weak enemy AI.
Immediately after release, the game received favourable reviews from worldwide media, and though it failed to become a million-seller, it managed to become one of few games from the early 2000s which has achieved cult status for the technical solutions and the impact made by in game development over the next several years. Project I.G.I. is centered on adventures of a military officer David Jones who is sent to former Soviet Union to take down Russian arms dealer Jach Priboi, who is a suspect in theft of missing nuclear warhead. Even through the 12 large missions of single-player campaign, David Jones will successfully locate Jach, find true masterminds of the warhead theft and engage in a combat against highly-trained Russian special forces crew headed by the homicidal Ekk.

Installation->
