OSForensics allows you to extract forensic evidence in computers quickly with its high-performance file searches as well as indexing. Identify any suspicious files and activities with hash matching, e-mails, memory, drive signature comparisons, and binary data. Manage all your digital investigations and create reports from the collected forensic data. OSForensics can easily index the content of a huge variety of file formats which includes: DOC, DOCX, PDF, XLS, RTF, WPD, SWF, DJVU, PPT, JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, MP3, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, MHT, ZIP, DWF, PST, MBOX, DBX, ZIP, ZIPX, RAR, ISO, TAR, MSG, 7Z and more. The recursive containers are also supported. So, it’s possible to correctly index any DOCX file attached to any E-mail in a PST file that is in turn compressed into a ZIPX file.
It provides one of the most robust and fast ways to locate files on any Windows computer. You can also search by filename, creation, size, and modified dates, and many other criteria. Results are returned and are made available in many different useful views. It includes the Timeline View that enables you to sift through matches on a timeline and making evident the pattern of a user’s activity on the machine. OSForensics enables you to recover and search for deleted files, even after they’ve been removed from Recycle Bin. This enables you to preview the files which the user may have tried to destroy. Each of the deleted files found is displayed with a corresponding Quality indicator which lies between 0-100. A value towards 100 means the deleted file is intact, with only a few missing clusters of data.

Download & Install OSForensics:
Download->
On your right-hand side, you will find a button saying "Download". Click on it.
On the next page, you will be interrupted to start the download, click on "Start Download".
Your download would automatically begin.
Installation->
After your download is complete, head towards the downloads folder on your PC.
Run the setup file, if prompted by User Account Control, click on yes.
Go through the installation and changes settings as per your preferences and click on Install.
Once the installation is complete, search for the application in your Windows search and run the application.
