K-Lite Codec Pack Basic is a set of codecs and filters that allow you to play AVI, MKV, MP4, FLV, MPEG, MOV, TS, M2TS, WMV, RM, RMVB, OGM, WebM MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, 3GP, AMR, APE, MKA, Opus, Wavpack, Musepack files and DVD and Blu-ray videos.

The suite works with most players on the market (like Media Player Classic, Zoomplayer, BS.Player, KMPlayer, PotPlayer and GOM Player), allows you to select individual codecs and filters installed in the system, the system works with both 32 as well as 64 Bit, provides enhanced support for displaying thumbnails and additional information about the file in Windows Explorer, and offers frequent updates.
