HFSExplorer is a simple tool to read system partitions and disk images formatted in HFS (Mac OS Standard), HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) and HFSX (Mac OS Extended with case sensitive file names) on Windows system.
The application allows you to browse the directory structure, copying files to disk and display detailed information about the volume and creating new disk images from a partition. HFSExplorer also lets you read and SPARSEBUNDEL DMG files created on a Mac, both compressed (zlib2, bzip2) and encrypted with AES-128 or AES-256.
HFSExplorer is written mostly in Java 5, also uses the functions available in Java 6 / 7. The program supports partition systems such as the Master Boot Record, GUID Partition Table, and Apple Partition Map. To run the software make sure you have Sun's Java SE Runtime Environment version 5.0 or greater.
