Freeciv in general is comparable with Civilization and Civilization II, offers support up to 126 players, and Freeciv-web supports up to 500 players.
Freeciv features Artificial Intelligence (AI) players, Internet and LAN multiplayer (TCP/IP) support, premade maps and scenarios, more than 50 units and over 550 nations, modpack support, in game help system and many more.
