About Cygwin:
Cygwin 64bit is a great collection of tools that provide a look like Linux and feel like environment for Windows. Cygwin is DLL (cygwin1.dll) that acts as a Linux API layer which provides substantial Linux API functionalities. The Cygwin DLL is currently working with all recent and commercially released x86 32 bit & 64-bit versions of Windows. The Cygwin distribution contains several packages from the Open-Source world that includes most GNU tools, many BSD tools, a full set of X applications and an X server. If you are a developer, you will find all tools, headers, and libraries that will allow you to write Windows console or GUI applications which make use of significant parts of POSIX API.
The tool allows easy porting for many UNIX programs without any need for extensive changes in the source code. This includes the configuring and building most of available GNU, BSD software, that includes the packages included with app distribution themselves. It can be used from any of the provided Unix shells like bash, zsh or tcsh. The tool can be expected to be running on all modern and released versions of Windows. State January 2016 includes Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 or all later versions of Windows till Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016. 32-bit version of the tool also runs in WOW64 32-bit environment in released 64-bit versions of Windows, and the 64-bit version of course only in 64-bit Windows. Keep in mind that this program can only do as much the underlying Operating System supports. Because of this, Cygwin 64-bit will be behaving differently and exhibit various limitations, on the different versions of Windows.

On your right-hand side, you will find a button saying "Free Download". Click on it.
Your download would automatically begin.
Installation->
After your download is complete, head towards the downloads folder on your PC.
Run the setup file.
Click on Install.
Once the installation is complete, run the application.
