Red Alert 3 is the third installment in the successful strategy-based game series Command and Conquer. It was released more than a decade after the first game. Like its prequels, Red Alert 3 is set in the era of World War II, albeit in a parallel dimension wherein Einstein is found on the battlefield instead of the Physics class. It features the same two factions i.e. the Soviets and Allies waging war against each other. There is a new faction in a town called Empire of the Rising Sun. This creates three-sided warfare. Players join forces through online means. If you play the offline version, then your ally is computer-controlled. The game controls are the same as the previous games. There is a prominent improvement in the graphics of the environment. In terms of plotline, Red Alert 3 might be a little ridiculous.
