Mountain Duck is a great app that allows you to mount server and cloud storage as a local disk in File Explorer on Windows and Finder on Mac. You can easily open remote files with any application and work almost like on a local volume.

Mountain Duck is working on the solid open source foundation of Cyberduck. All most popular protocols are supported to connect to just about any server you want A widely tested FTP (File Transfer Protocol) implementation for the best interoperability with support for FTP over secured SSL/TLS connections. With support for strong ciphers, public key and two-factor authentication. And you can also read all settings from existing OpenSSH configuration. The software is available for download in Windows and Mac version.

Mountain Duck works also great with many WebDAV servers including ownCloud, box.com, Sharepoint and BigCommerce. It supports two-way authentication with a client certificate. You can also access to Google Cloud Storage and Amazon S3 storage with support for large file uploads, connect to Microsoft Azure Cloud, OneDrive Personal, OneDrive Business and Sharepoint Online storage.

Other features of Mountain Duck include an option to access Google Drive and Dropbox without synchronizing documents on your local disk. Mountain Duck supports also Rackspace Cloudfiles or any other OpenStack Swift cloud storage providers and the low-cost cloud storage on your desktop Backblaze B2.
